Biography

I have been a professional drummer for 20 years. In that time I have toured and recorded with artists such as Bryan Ferry, Joe Strummer, Billy Bragg, John Squire, KT Tunstall, Heather Nova, Cerys Matthews, UNKLE, Paul Heaton, Jarvis Cocker and many more.

I studied music at Drumtech and Thames Valley University in London before my band Addict were signed to Richard Branson's V2 label. When our recording contract came to an end my career as a drummer continued with the artists listed above. Touring has taken me around the globe; Europe, USA, Canada, South America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia playing in some prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Ryman Auditorium, Olympia Paris, Hollywood Bowl, Royal Festival Hall, Royal Opera House, Filmore West, CBGB's and Giants Stadium.

I have performed on many festival stages too including Glastonbury, Austin City Limits (USA), T in the Park, Blues and Roots festival (Australia/New Zealand), Fuji Rock (Japan), V Festivals (US and UK), Isle of Wight and many summer festivals across Europe, USA and also China, South Korea and Taiwan.

I have appeared on numerous TV and radio shows including Jools Holland, David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneres, Top of the Pops, Good Morning America, Graham Norton, Radio One Live Lounge, and the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony amongst many others.

I recorded on Joe Strummer's last album, KT Tunstall's first four albums, John Squire's second solo album and live albums and DVDs with Bryan Ferry, Billy Bragg and Heather Nova. Studios I have recorded in include Abbey Road, British Grove, Electric Ladyland, Rockfield and Realworld.

I'm currently touring internationally with Bryan Ferry.
